We stand in solidarity with those who suffer in Nepal as the result of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck just after noon Friday, April 24, 2015 with an epicenter 50 miles northwest of Kathmandu. Please consider a donation earmarked for earthquake relief in Nepal to American Red Cross, Karuna Shechen, One Heart World-Wide, or UNICEF. These NGO's are on the ground in Nepal and already have networks of resources, supplies, and people in southeast Asia to draw from.

Our mission is to empower local communities by providing vocational training for individual practitioners in a 5-year school of Himalayan medicine in the trans-Himalayan region of Dolpo, Nepal.

We will provide instruction, tuition, room and board, support staff and supplies for 14 students from 7 mountain villages. Upon completion of our 5 year program, each village will have 2 doctors of Himalayan Medicine and access to healthcare for a lifetime.

We will preserve Himalayan Medicine for future generations in the east and the west. We will empower people to be self-reliant while promoting environmentally sustainable practices.

We're focused. We're efficient. We're making an impact using some creative thinking. Join us in making a difference by contributing today!

Thank you for donating to Himalaya Project.
